TRAINING
The Response Group has a full suite of training modules to meet your preparedness training needs. TRG lead instructors are FEMA Train the Trainer certified and NIMS qualified All-Hazard Responders. Our ability to actively support clients during times of crisis is a point of pride for The Response Group. Instructors seek to leverage these real world experiences to the advantage of our students.
TRAINING DELIVERY
TRG continues to provide our entire suite of training courses both in person and virtually. Virtual training courses can be delivered using multiple platforms and include activites to keep students engaged.
INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM
All of our Incident Command System (ICS) training staff possess years of experience in many facets of emergency response within the government and private sector organizations. National Incident Management System (NIMS) ICS training courses offered by The Response Group meet the standards established by the United States Department of Homeland Security while offering the ability to be customized to meet other Incident Management standards internationally. Additionally our courses meet the proposed California Spill Management Team (SMT) training requirements.
Workshop opportunities within each course are custom designed to meet our clients’ needs, ensuring confidence and enhancing the ability of the Incident Management Team members in the areas of strategic, tactical and support functions using proven tools and processes. HAZWOPER
The Response Group provides customized safety and Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training that is relevant to your operations and NIMS. Our instructors can provide courses that relate to your organization’s hazards with facilitated discussions and exercises that meet OSHA requirements. We have a full curriculum of courses that ensure all your HAZWOPER Training needs can be met.
QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL
Qualified Individuals are legally responsible for activating response resources following a release and taking steps toward fixing the problem. Our Qualified Individual course covers the roles and responsibilities of QI/IC during the initial response phase of an incident; understanding of information found in emergency response plans and offshore response plans or other applicable plans and established procedures.
COMPUTER BASED TRAINING (CBT)
The Response Group's interactive exercise-based computer based training (CBT) courses allows students to complete courses at their own pace. The CBT courses meet global incident management systems objectives and is geared toward industry standards while incorporating best emergency response practices.
